Excellent Product
This is an EXCELLENT product at a very good price. It combines an upright vac with a handheld vac. It has a swivel head, which is really useful. I vacuumed my bedroom today using the upright vac and it picked up bits of cotton and other small things that my big vacuum wouldn’t have picked up. I cleaned the stairs with the hand held in no time. I am really pleased with this purchase. It is easily assembled, light to carry, gets under furniture easily and does the job. At last
In a flat with laminate flooring and a couple of rugs. a full size, corded vacuum was cumbersome and unnecessary while my standard handheld re-chargeable was too small and power lasted about 5 minutes. This is just perfect. I only saw a couple of alternatives which looked really ‘cheap and nasty’. This is solid and nice looking and the fold down handle is a great space-saving idea. The charge is more than ample to clean the whole flat. Ideally, some attachments (like a brush head) for the hand held unit would be a useful addition. Nonetheless – 5 stars, if for nothing else than that it is such a pleasure to use, I’m cleaning far more often!
Good product, bad design
How good or bad the product performs is not in question – simply, the ridiculous efforts you have to go to in order to keep it operating. After less than a five minute clean, you will have to remove the vacuum from the holder, take off the front end, remove (and clean) the filter and then push a very long skewer inside at an angle in order to remove pet hair and general fluff which will have blocked the two small holes through to the waste chamber. Not recommended for people with pets, new carpets which produce fluff, or short tempers.
